Calling all writers, riders, and trainers!
The new year is a time of resolutions, of looking forward while also reflecting back on what you’ve accomplished so far. We thought it only fair that our first issue of 2016 focus on exciting new things you may want to try, or even learn more about, in the new year. This brand new full issue will focus on lesser known or unique equestrian sports and activities that you may have never heard about, or may be dying to try.
Are you a participant in one of these lesser known equestrian disciplines and looking to spread the word? Are you a manager or member of a club or equestrian sporting organization managing one of these lesser known activities and want to share more information? Then be sure to consider submitting!
Here’s what we are looking for:
We are accepting a range of articles showcasing any equestrian discipline that is considered less well known that mainstream disciplines (e.g. not Showjumping, Eventing, Dressage and some forms of Western riding)
Key article types:
- Clubs and Equestrian Sporting Organizations overseeing or running lesser known equine activities
- Informational articles about lesser known equestrian disciplines
- Articles by riders who regularly participate in these activities/competitions and would like to share their stories and/or experiences
We are also looking for a cover star for this issue. We will consider any high resolution photo of a horse or horse and rider combination participating in any equestrian discpline (following Featured article parameters above).
For general submission and photo guidelines, please check out our magazine submissions page.
